Well I had a bit of an exciting day today.  Taxied the Kitfox 4 for the first time.  Runs nice, felt like it would have left the ground in no time.  655 lbs and 100 HP 912 will do that I suppose.  Anyway, I'm happy.  Still got stuff to do, but it's close!  Short video as well.  JImChuk    Kitfox 4 first taxi

What cowl and boot is that Jim?

It's the Kitfox smooth cowl,  John Rogers in Id has a mold and made me one.  Because the engine sticks further forward, I had to build my own boot cowl, which I did out of fiberglass. It's pretty much the same as my flying Kitfox 4 cowl, except for length.  JImChuk

It's looking really sharp.  I'll bet it'll be a real flyer at that weight and 100 HP.  Hopefully there will be a fist flight report before the snow sets in.
