Congrats!  Hopefully in another 20 or 30 years I will have stopped foolishly spending all my money on airplanes and other toys and be able to make the same post!

So we should be seeing a lot more flying and playing pictures from you right??

Congrats Paul,

I retired about 23 years ago the first time - unfortunately I was not smart enough or rich enough to quit working -

2nd retirement was 10 years ago, and still had to rebuild another house, a garage, a storage building, and another plane -

someday I may learn to relax!

Good Landings to you,

EDMO

I lost about 30 pounds...all off my gut...the first six months after I retired.  I stopped by my old office to say hi to everyone and they all wanted to know how I lost the weight.  I just replied, "I'm retired, no time to drink beer".

What, everyone missed my joke? I re- tired as is 21" tires on the Avid.

Leni I have had the spring gear on there for over 100 hrs. and really like them, waiting on the Matco TW to finish off the gear.

I should retire but I just like the trucking business and the oil patch to much. Started saying I was semi- retired this year but that was a mistake, just ended up working more. Guess it can't be work if II enjoy it.

What is the bowed strip between the strut attach point and forward of the gear attach points?

Herman those are the oil lines going to the oil tank which is under the baggage compartment for the 912.  Did you sell your plane yet, sure looks nice.  How did the free wheeling tailwheel work for you?
