    I think the Avid, SkyRaider, Ridgerunner ect type airplanes would sell like crazy if the owners of those companies new anything about running a business. Those guys themselves killed the light plane market for people that wanted to get into our type airplanes.

    Randy is right. If it is possible take a trip to Alaska do it. Even though my daughter and I only had a short time to spend in Alaska we made the most of it. Participated in my brothers wedding, met up with a couple of friends and got to meet and make new friends like Randy. Every time I see pictures from Alaska on the forum I remember the great hospitality and adventure Randy introduced Megan and I to. If any other members make it to Anchorage give Randy a call. He is a super nice person with a super nice airplane. Thanks again Randy. I will be back.

    I wouldn't make that big of a deal out of the inserts. I have the wood ones and they have worked great. Where do you stop trying to make things stronger on a already proven design?

    Go out in public and watch how many people are on their phones. I would be willing to bet most of them are on fb. You can not carry on a decent conversation without somebody checking fb while talking to them. Pisses me off!

    You need a extension on your rudder peddles. That will keep your toes off of the brakes.

    I tied a rope to my Maule tailwheel  put it in a bucket, filled it with concrete. Sure makes a great boat anchor.

    One good thing about all of the spraying in our area is there isn't a bug that is left alive within 200 miles of us. We can actually enjoy the outdoors now. The bats are a little thin though.

    I don't get it. I spill gas all the time and never had any problems. Just fatigue cracks at the bends.

    I have spilled gas on my sl and ws for years and have never damaged my Lexan. Has anybody had any trouble doing this? Everybody says it will destroy it, but I have never had any problems.

    Talk about having to keep a eye on other airplanes. 4 to 5 spray planes working out of our airport now. Tonight one ag plane was taking off, he finally got airborne about 3/4 of the way down the runway when another spray plane was on short final heading right toward the plane taking off. The plane on short final just landed over the one taking off. This goes on all day. You just have to keep a sharp eye on things during this time.
