I'M LOOKING FOR AN ENGINE COWL IN EUROPE FOR AVID FLYER MK4 WITH ROTAX 912

I'm searching a fiberglass engine cowl (2 or 3 pieces for ROTAX 912) for my Avid rebuilt project.
Preferably in Europe.
Thank you.

WONDERFUL !

Anyone has the layout with the dimensions of the curved rudder type MARK IV?
Thank you.

Are the ribs reinforced with carbon-fiber?
Can you add some picture of this repair method?
I'm interested on it - thank you.

...no pictures....no sales...

Can you give me any advice or suggestion based on your experience?
Better to glue the dacron coating or stitch on the ribs?
I want to use heat shrink dacron to coat the wing and fuselage but I have so many doubts and confusion.
Thanks

Are fiberglass fuel tanks still reliable after 30 years?
Thanks

Looks an awful lot like my 'C' model, modified doors and cowl though - my doors have no aluminum on them, and the cowl isn't split down the middle like that.
Cowl is modified due to KFM112 engine installation but I will change with original if possible or will modify it.

Here is my new restoration project.
It is a 1990 model with a KFM 112 engine - total engine and airframe is 329 hours since new.
Suffered light damage to the left wing when taxiing too close to the hangar.
It is originally a tri-gear but will be transformed into a TD.
I have estimated about 2 years of work due to the little free time I have but I hope to be able to anticipate.
If anyone can tell me exactly what model it is, I'll be happy.

In a couple of months I'll get an Avid to rebuild that has a KFM112 installed.
If they also give me the manuals I will send you a copy in PDF.
Alternatively, I live in Italy about 10 miles from the IAME manufacturer who produced these splendid engines about 30 years ago and I could try to ask if the technical manuals are still available in their technical office.
You just have to be patient

I'm looking for copies of the kfm 112 engine manuals. I have one still in the crate. It's for a kitfox model 1.

Hello,
I just purchased an AVID FLYER for a rebuild that I will start in 2 or 3 months. The installed engine is a KFM112 with about 300 hours of operation and has been standing still for many years but I don't want to sell it.
I live about 15 KM from the factory that built these engines in 1990 and even if they no longer produce them I will have to contact them to see if they still have spare parts available.
As soon as I receive information about it, I will update you.
Greetings.

This is my first post on this forum.
Soon I will start rebuilding an Avid and 30 years have passed since its entry into service.
I ask the more experienced what kind of glue or adhesive is used to glue the ribs to the wing spars. Is there a recently released product or should the old be used?
Thanks for your comments.
