Hey Yamma Fox, any idea if Bryan does the phazer wire ect yet? Just picked up a wrecked phazer for my KF 0038 conversion, and do like Teals gearbox but think its out of my price range, ill probably do an adaptor to use my Cbox.

My opinion is the acme shocks r awesome, BUT i have only flown one plane with TK1 for mayb an hr so im not able to give a good comparison, i know i do like the constrution of the acme much better than the tk1, Ive been flyin my buddies 180hp cup with acme front and rear, and when its on the ground,,,,, its on the ground, no bounce sticks down sweet, thats what im buyin for the pa12 rebuild, have my order already in for the tail havent ordered the front yet since havent got the 3 ext gear so can give measurements.

Man Randy that baby is startin to really look good!! The 26” tires fit i very well also i think, but i was never a big tire short gear guy, i like long gear smaller tire. Im watchin and gettin ideas for my Fox Monster 0048.

Hahahahahaahaaa yea Randy i finally got something to work on alright, like i need more work right? Gettin pretty close to final install of wings, motor, ect on the pa12.
This is Avid number 0022. The fuse in pu bed is an Avid A also that had been cutdown the middle and narrowed, not sure plan with that but mayb a wind sock.
0048 is the other model 1Kitfox (the yellow one) i have in shed to build into a super low weight, yammy big power, lots of prop and gear, my home made belly pod im workin on, big feathers, single seat in middle fishin buggy. Would b like a wide body cub in a way, short cheap trips from home in Ester to Minto Flats and Blair Lake for fishin may even install my EDO 1070 floats on it. But that will b a project a few yrs down the road after soooooo much work on the pa12 since sept 2020. Figure i have around 4200-4500hrs in it now and that dont include the help from guys at Croswinds and they did a whole lot of work to between times i was home waitin for parts. -
Doubl nut the end of each stud, and on e they tight onto eachother, turn the nut closest to the engine block, and the stud should screwout so u can install a longer stud.

U sure got that right Jim, and Leni been tellin me im sick like him and the rest of us here for so long now i forgot. Hahahaaa
Well was an awesome drive down and back, good weather and the new to me ‘97 2x4 ranger pu with a 3.0 4cly with 76,000 miles did so damm good i was truely impressed with the pu. Been longtime since a car impressed me like that. A few of U guys will recognize the plane from a member here, snowload bentup the tail and end of one wing. But easy fix for a guy like me, course im using it for parts for my SS KF YK2cyl project is the plan.

Well Randy that is a heck of a good idea!!! I just may do that.
Well im gettin pretty far along on the pa12, here a few pic of progress. Not sure if i like the T3 tail wheel yet, it works great best can tell at moment, but looks like makes ass of plane sit to high. I may sell it and buy the ACME stinger when i buy ACME shock struts.3 people like this -

Also when u have paint, primer, epoxy primers, ect, that u mix and that flash off, u can make them last for weeks if u cover the can with a disposable rubber glove, or surrane wrap and rubber band to seal up the can, then u can put it in the freezer and it will keep a longtime, but dont do that in a fridge/freezer u care about, eventualy it will smell like paint. Hahahahaaaa
