If you have a gearbox on the engine, right hand prop should turn in the right direction.  It's real easy to cut down IVO blades to the length you need.  I would probably try to run as a two blade and keep the blades as long as possible.  If prop clearance is an issue, 64" three blade should work fine on a 503 Rotax.  JImChuk

That's right, the 3-blade propeller with a diameter of 63" works perfectly on the Rotax-503/2,58!

That's right, the 3-blade propeller with a diameter of 63" works perfectly on the Rotax-503/2,58.By installing it on the Rotax-503, you get the characteristics of an aircraft with a Rotax-582.

By installing it on the Rotax-582, you will get the characteristics of the Rotax-912-80.

And so on :).

to keep the fire alive, I just throw in the possible candidates, probably some out of the same same mold ;-)

(combo 582, c-Box 3:1)

- NR SR83 dia. 1720mm

- Luga/Kool? dia. 1750mm

- kiev 183 dia. 1800mm (STOL)

- kiev 163 dia 1710mm

Would have already ordered, but so far not clear what`s best replacement for my aged wooden GSC!

We used this combination on our X-32 aircraft.

It was necessary to install a 3-blade propeller with a diameter of 1750 mm. The plane began to fly at a speed equal to the aircraft with Rotax-912-80. You can use classic blades - cheaper. You can use saber-shaped blades - more expensive. The noise level of the second option is significantly less..

This picture is more than 20 years old.

The aircraft is equipped with a Rotax-582/3 and our propeller with a diameter of 1750 mm.  Then our propeller was called Donchak VN-3. It was specially designed for complex operation in conditions of shading from the wing and motor.

The aircraft easily performed complex aerobatics with a full load (two pilots weighing over 200 kg), transported a tank with a chemical solution and a motor pump, performing crop processing.

Of course, Meglin! Moreover, it is certified in Germany for Savage aircraft.

The 3-blade propeller with a diameter of 1750 mm turned out to be the most versatile and most common propeller in our country. The right propeller was ideal for pushing the Rotax-582/3, the left one was ideal for pushing the Rotax-912. All these engines were installed on our aircraft, which was mass-produced and had a type certificate.
