Yes sir, that 3rd class medical is a great safety tool!
Heard on the news this morning of a ATP dying in flight.
The co-pilot was a better safety alternative.

Now that's what I need, an airplane that can back up! Nice! Jim Chuk
Some time ago I watched a video promoting a device developed for amphibs that seemed to reverse the prop rotation. I assumed it was for braking or maneuvering from a dock. I didn't think it to be very practical.

13 - from my KF1 - I would have to test it before selling.

Thanks

Mine did too, Leni changed it, and I changed it again. If nobody knows me by now, then they are probably the lucky ones.
KFfan, I see that now - must have been tired from my trip - I only have an old Left wing tank for sale.

Glass or aluminum? 6 or 13?

Put the focals on ED
I think he mentioned the right wing

Congratulation on the culmination of your dream! That is the path I had hoped to take but I obtained my bird first. I full well understand your desire to take care of the things that just bug you.

usernames have always been case sensitive. But once your signed in you should be able to keep coming back without signing in again.
Thanks. I deduced I fat fingered it...

Guess you wouldn't want to see my neighbor!

Just now when signing on it seemed my username was case sensitive. Anyone else seeing this?

Just had to sign in - so far, I don't care for the format - cant see 1/10th as much when I open as I did before - Guess I will figure it out? You may notice too, that I am no longer, "Ed in Missouri", but "MoFlyer" which I thought was supposed to be mine and Leni's secret log-in
AND NOW, It no longer lets me see easily who is currently on the site....

I just turn my laptop upside down or do a quick handstand and things are right again.
Let me demonstrate...

Turn the phone up-side-down? Actually, I have a LG G2 running 5.0.2. I sometimes have to rotate the photo using the options available when the photo is on-screen. The option is: "Rotate".

So like a good aviation enthusiast I sent the EAA link letters in Post #1 when Paul started the thread. Over the ensuing months I've received replies from all. Most were a typical form response but did at least state the Representative supported the Bill. None were as late or as completely useless as the one I just received from NY Senator Schumer nearly 9 months later. What a total waste of energy, time and resources. Just thought you might be interested.
Must be a "form letter" response.
Nearly identical to the one I received from my Senator

Great work.
Makes me wish I would have tracked the hours in my WW2 era submarine...

Thanks Ed for bringing up the "then and now" wage point. I sometimes reflect on what things used to cost. Anyone look at the report social security sends about your "contribution" to them, (or us ED?)? Pretty shocking! OK, I got that out of my mind...
I think most of the younger drivers prefer to be able to get to their destination as fast and comfortable as they can. When I bought my 2 it fit perfectly for what I envisioned as my "mission", what I want to do, perfectly. I doubt I will ever xcountry more than 500-1000 SM to visit one of my daughters. I do not regret it for one minute. Actually you guys have reinforced my reasoning about buying what I did. I don't get that feeling over on the "dark side" site. I particularly appreciate those of you here who manufacture what you need when possible. That has always been my mantra. If precision machines were available to me, I would also. I have already experienced great satisfaction working on little things that I want to address before taking to the sky.
After all, they are merely simple enjoyable machines.

Maybe it's the exhaust but the 670 has a distinctive sound.
It would be harder(without a clutch) to do a runup on floats, but from shutdown to full power with a two stroke is asking for a cold seizure and once agin the engine (especially a 670)will get blamed.
But still impressive,thanks for posting.
Harder to do a runup? Just hold the brakes...
