What does a set of model 1 flaperons go for these days? Last i heard was like $1000 a set, just wondering i have two extra sets for model 1-3.
I wouldn't sell them for less than 500 each once there gone there gone.

I got two flaperons you may be able to have where you at and when do you need them?

If you already have the flaperons then I would just use the original wing I always liked the airdale wing has a nice symmetrical wing on it. Good luck and post some pictures

Single place ridge runner on the yamaha face book page right now $5000 by Illinois

I wouldn't extent the rib tails If your going to make new wings. Just put the new flaperon where they are on the kitfox it seems to work well. Wish I had an airdale should have bought the one that was local to me with the harley engine.

Just plasma cut. He said he could punch or mark the holes but they would be not perfectly round and hard as shit around the edges.
And The laser company around here would not do that small of an order.

Thanks for the video, TJay. Nice work!
I'm curious what it cost to have the parts cut out.
186 bucks for 62 of them
Have no idea what kitfox would charge for them Never asked

Hi Anders, I think the 3/4" lift struts are what is limiting your MTOW. If you could find some 7/8" lift struts, then probably have the higher gross weight. Like they say, a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. JImChuk
Hi Jim.
Yes but MkIV HH have a gross of 1150lbs-1200lbs and I was hoping that was because of the 7/8" struts and more ribs, different tail feathers, gear and fuselage?
I counted the ribs on mine and there is only 9 ribs, so it seems like it's a standard STOL wing with HH spars?! I am hoping this would result in a MTOW of 1050 instead of 911 or 1150lbs. Bit of course this is only guessing and until I really know, I stick with 911lbs.
just put it on floats then all those components magically get stronger ha.

Has anyone ever used the trailing edge material that wicks and aircraft spruce sells? And how did you like it? I was gonna bend some up today but I have no aluminum left.
