    I'm not sure bout that fuel cell. I would do some testing on it, I would sure hate to see that filler cap start to leak,

    you could  sand it down and build two spots up with Fiber glass, drill and tap two holes for a sight tube that would be the easiest,

    High heat means poor fuel atomization, which leads to poor fuel burn, Cool carburetor's means more power,

    1/4 inch Yeah that's the issue with those, I'm using 5/16 hose may take Larry's advice and use a ball valve I have a few new ones laying around here, I got some with the yellow handles and some with the red. Not sure if they all work for fuel or not.

    Fuel Valve?
    So I ran some fuel through the system and discovered I have a leak, took this valve apart and there is a bad spot from factory machining causing fuel to leak from the inside out, Do any of you remember where you can buy this valve, I have looked all over on the internet with no luck, These came with the plane, guessing they were popular in the 90's, Direct replacement is what I would like to find, Thanks,

    Hey bud look at the first picture, The aluminum brackets with the rubber mount in the middle, that,s what is on the firewall,  lots of flex in those for movement.

    You may have to get a stereo to mono adapter in 1/4 inch, even so it only 3 bucks, all that does is take that extra band and move it to the left side, Some times its needed and sometimes its not,

    I just brushed a little grease on mine and bolted it together, Im sure you could do any type anti-seize

    Couldn't agree more, It seems builders don't realize that if RTV is squeezing out the outside of the case, then just just as much is squeezing out the inside of the case,

    i have gauges for synching carbs but never had real good luck on the 2 strokes, Not much vacuum there, I have found if you slide a socked in the carbs right up to the jet nozzle it makes a good feeler gauge,

    If you just need seals and don't want to buy the expensive  mercedes-benz seals you can go on line and buy Viton Rubber any thickness, I bought a 6x6 piece and made 4 of them, I bought the 1/8 thick stuff so my fuel caps would be a little higher so they don't rub the fabric, If you don't have that issue 1/16 is fine,
