    Modified Wing Jack
Modified my wing jack by putting a screw jack for lifting rather than a nut wrench combination. Much smoother lifting now. It will raise about 7 1/2". Hope to try it real soon. My new wheels will come this week so I can switch to ski's, then I can get my ski's rigged to my new gear.

You want to read moron comments watch my U-Tube video "Rage 2 bladed Broadhead part one", check part 2 also. My user name is Malmuthusky. You wouldn't believe the comments from these uneducated idiots. Could use some help putting these people in place. At times like this we all have to stick together even more.

Finished my windshield this weekend and flew it today. It was still in three pieces and attached when I landed. Time will tell how long it will last. At least now it won't be so expensive to replace if I have to.

No repairing this problem. I'll post pictures of how bad it cracks if left long enough.

No, tubed. I would like a 2cd pair for changing over to ski's. My 21" tires won't fit in my ski's.

    Jeff,
I just routed the housing and cable into my IP, then ran the cable through the panel and tightened the control knobs to the cable. One turn of the cable is one notch on the main needle. No indicators on mine.

Yup, That is what I have been through with my windshield Leni. Nothing seems to work for long. My sunroof is seperate from the front. This made it much nicer to change it out. My curve was cracked so bad that I could stick two fingers through the cracks and pieces that were missing. I am going to fly this weekend if it clears up. I will let you know how it go's and take a picture of the finished windshield. In my Bandit I don't aproach any high speed's, so I'm hoping it will hold together. If not I will have a open cockpit airplane. The only thing I am concerned about is that I only used a 3/4" alminum strip to rivet the seam together, so the rivet holes are real close to the edge of the Lexan. Time will tell.

.063 I think or close to it. It cracks on those two triangle pieces I am cutting out and replacing.

    3 piece windshield
I am installing a 3 piece windshield in my Bandit. This will be the 3rd time I have had to replace it. I'm hoping this will take some stress out of the curved area of the Lexan and it should be some what easier and cheaper to do.

Yes, my radiators look like they mount just like Jim's do, on each side of the gear box. I like looking at all of the pictures I can, makes it much easier for me.

    Changing over to the 582
Joey or Leni, do either one of you guys have any pictures of your 582 installation. I am going to start working on my switch over. I will be using cheek radiators and I am thinking of going with mixed gas, instead of oil injection. The firewall forward package I got did not come with the radiator cap and thermostat, where would I get those parts?
    Thanks,
    Mark

One turn is one notch on the needle valve. Start at full rich until your engine runs smooth.

I have a Avid Bandit with the 503 with over 900hrs on it. Takeoff in around 170', land in 200'- 300' area. Check out my video " Takeoff, circle and land in 50 seconds", that was with wheel ski's on, could have cut time off that with straight wheels. Go with the tall wide spring gear and Matco tailwheel. Keep it light and simple. Don't need all that technical crap. Like Joey said we only have around $15,000 in ours, not $80,000. I can fold the wings in 6 minutes at 10 degrees.
