Very good advice! Often times you are pulled away and by the time you get back to the job you've forgotten what goes where. I take so many pics with my phone when doing things for exactly the same reasons now, definitely one of those 'tools' I don't know I ever got along without.
If you are like me, your memory was better before cellular phones...

Mine on a mod 2, bought it built, is on top of the cabin just forward of a cross tube above the seat back. It is mounted about 4" from the ELT antenna. Not good at all.
I've got to rearrange antennas and add a third for comms. Thinking of putting a plate under the fabric and on top of the fuselage for that one.

Is this an uncompleated kit or what exactly? What is the condition of the fuselage? Jim Chuk
More stock for the barn?

Just picking your brain here, not passing judgement.
Why do you say "a tube that will bounce around"?

I see only one controller listed separately. It is specifies 5 amp capacity in each channel, left and right. For most LEDs that seems pretty hefty, IMO. I would think there are other suppliers with differing amperage ratings.

It is easy to accumulate way too much cr*p when you have way too much space!

Yep, been there done that...and still collecting

I have to ask about the car - Studebaker or Henry J? Been a long time since I had one...Check out TJay's question above - didn't want to interrupt. EDMO
Henry J would have been smaller, I believe. As a young man, my desire was to "slip" a Plymouth 265 into a "J"

Thanks for confirming my belief in needing to go completely through my electrical system. I am, iirc, the 5th or 6th owner. Every time I just glance at the visible wires the thought returns.

Looks like you had great conditions
Thanks...

I think my oldest daughter taught her bad habits when she, the dog, was a pup

Yeah, they don't rend horses any longer...

There is a guy over on the "other site" using Oratex. I think he is building a 7. IIRC he calculated the cost to be nearly equal to other fabrics and associated material.

Good luck on your search. I've not seen any running for election...
Any interest in a Bing 54 rebuild tutorial?

But he thinks like many of us Americans so I guess we can call him a "brother"?
