Finish tapes?

So today I ran out of 4 inch finish tape.  But I have a ton of 4 inch Bias tape is there anything wrong with using the bias on bigger runs like 4 foot lengths?

I used some on the straight and around the curve of the HS and I really did not like the way it came out.  It was sloppy looking and would not do it again.  You're experience may very.

How much do you need?  I've actually been cutting some of mine with my handy dandy pinked edge cutter.  Takes a bit of time to mark it, but it does work nice.  Especially if you want an odd ball sized tape.  I cut 4 3/4" wide tape for the front of the Kitfox wing I just did.   I do have some factory made 4" stuff though I could send you.  Jim Chuk
