Here is a reference that I told Joey about that is the easy way and the quick way to finish epoxy layup projects.

PS Ignore the part about primers.  Featherfill is junk.  Use a good primer recommended for the paint system you plan to use.

This guy knows his stuff about fiberglass.  I bought the fiberglass landing gear he makes for the Himax airplane years ago.  It worked real well.   I talked to him a couple of years ago about building a fiberglass gear for Avids and Kitfoxes, but he wasn't inclined to do it.  I think if he had an Avid he would have though.  He told me all about how I could do it myself, and later posted a section to his site explaining how to build the Himax gear.  He also tells how to build a fuel tank, might be a way to go for some that don't want to spend $550 for new ones.  Interesting guy.  Jim Chuk

Not to change the subject, ;) I read the section on his site regarding 2 cycle, Rotax, engine failures. Did anyone else read it? If so, what is your take on his opinion     Lou

Pretty much spot on ,two strokes need to be "setup" with all variables taken into account followed by a test  and adjust period "two strokes Seldom die, the are usually murdered"

I don't like Featherfill either. If you have to have a vinyl ester primer, Duratec works well.
