Thats pretty bad ass.  Some of these guys that build these engines amaze me.  I wish I had that kind of talent and shop set up at home.

I can't imagine why anyone would deliberately use a pair of SU carbs though.  He probably had them laying around in the bottom of an old cardboard box in the cellar.

Looks like the 4 guys carrying it were having a bit of a work out.  Better check the CG when you mount it.  ;-)  Jim Chuk

On the youtube site one of the later videos he has a comment that it weighs 250lbs.
