Has anyone replaced the rear prop shaft seal on C box

The rear prop shaft seal on my c box leaks and is getting worse.  Has anyone ever replaced it?  Its a 25x38x7, number 10 on the rotax diagram and pn 930-675.  Aftermarket seal thats been used is the past would be fine too.

I changed one a few years ago with an aftermarket type for about 1/10 the price of rotax's seal.  No problems with the new one.  Jim Chuk

Just completed replacing the rear prop shaft seal on my 912 and used aftermarket seal with great results. Built a puller using all thread and a few nuts that worked just fine.

Has anyone had any luck with seal rejuvenation through some sort of additive.

Never thought to try to rejuvenate the seal.  The new one was $5 or $7 if I remember right.  It was on a 582,  didn't realize you were asking about a 912.   Jim Chuk

Don't waste your time or money on rejuvenator

I tried it on a small weep on my c box also an A box in my drifter.

A worn seal is what it is.

Aftermarket seals are generally ok but be careful as seals don't tolerate bad installation!

I ordered 2 seals from McMaster-Carr.  $6.87 each.  Part number 5154T67.  A lot less than the 25 or so Rotax wants for theirs.
