2014 High Sierra Fly-in

This fly in is located on a dry lake bed between Carson City and Yerington Nevada. It is this weekend. The link has some pictures and a great video from last years fly in. I'll post my pics next week!

Thanks for posting this, Joey.  Even though I'm a flatlander I figure I can land smoother than the Maule at 08:10 in the video.  Also, I was happy to see the two-stroke Kitfox in the mix near the end.  Who's plane is that?

The fly in was amazing but we ended on a very sour note. We had a double fatal midair yesterday morning while everyone was departing to go home. Stay safe out there guys. I was one of the first on scene and what was left was ALL bad. We are all pretty shaken up by it as they were close friends and great backcountry pilots. Hug the ones you love extra hard today they can be gone in a second.
