I rotated it 90 degrees and there is absolutely no binding anymore everything is smooth from stop to stop, now Since we are talking about rudder cables  would you guys recommend getting the pre stretched cables or is it not necessary. and what do you think about these ends

I know they need to be done at spruce, I really think they would look nice attached to the rudder petals up front.

looking at the picture I am right placing the fre 48 and 49 on the front side of the control stick, the Avid drawing shows it on the rear of the stick. Hey ED does it tell you in that book what size rudder cables I need?

Got most of the controls back in and finished welding up the rudder pedals, wrapped a strap under the torque tubes and welded a strap on the back side of the rudder cable attach,  Haven't decided what I will do with the brake pedals yet that's why there not finished.

My Murle williams header tank showed up today and I am wondering if anybody has photos of there install, I would think i just hang it off of adel clamps behind the seat but pics are always nice too thanks. P.S. I emailed him saying I would like to buy a tank and 5 days later it was on my door step with the bill inside, ha not to often in this world you get something before you pay for it. He must be an honest man I like buying from guys like that.

    Rudder Pedal Bushings
OK Guys I mounted the floor in the kitfox this weekend and wanted to trial fit my rudder pedals before more welding, when sliding the aluminum angle bracket with the plastic bushing into the end of the rudder pedal tubes they are really tight, So I'm wondering do the actual tubes rotate on the plastic bushing, or does the plastic bushing rotate on the Bolt that goes through the aluminum angle bracket, Kinda hard to explain but guessing you guys know what I am talking about.

Thanks Jim but I ordered a scrap piece off ebay, ha who know you could buy a 8" by 8" piece of fabric, wonder how many years they threw them away before they figured out people buy that stuff. There only a couple bucks. Got a medium/firm density 5mm thick, that should do her.

If you have an electric trim system you will have areas for moisture to enter, that's my best guess

When installing the flap handle is says to place a small piece of Leather between the two, Is this still what you guys are doing or did you all find something else, I'm only asking because I don't keep pieces of left over Leather on the shelf. But seem to have everything else around here.

Ok Maybe I should re say  that, I cant imagine there was that many made, What I was meaning is yes most parts will always be available but if you find a broken crank case, well good luck finding some one to cast you a new one. Now dont get me wrong I love Yamaha engines, Worked on them for years and have always thought they were miles ahead of the rest and glad to see them finally getting to the aviation market.

I really think the Yamaha is a good engine, But the availability of it scares me, There cant be that many around anymore. When Yamaha introduced it in the sled the whole package totally sucked, way to heavy, So there wasn't that many made, Now if they get the 3 cylinder figured out I do believe they will have a hell of an engine.
