I looked at his face book page, He has a video of it running real strong, All I gotta say is holy shit that thing sounds like one bad ass bush plane. And if I am reading it right he is pumping Nitrous through it for 175HP on take off?

I bought the Power Fin for my Kitfox but then changed to a Jabiru in the middle of the build, your best bet would be to snap a photo of your gearbox that will tell us what you got, and Maybe call Power Fin and ask them if you can even cut it off. I wouldn't install a prop like this unless you have at least 3 to 1 gears in her since it has the F style blades, Let us know its nice to have some new chit chat on here,

Oregon Aircraft sells the aftermarket ones, He claims there way better, I don't know I just stick with the stock rotax ones I have bought from lockwood and leaf and cps all with the same products, I did a 503 a while back and bought all from lockwood because they will mail them in an envelope if you ask, saves about 14 bucks in shipping, all the seals looked great so I took them into a local snowmobile shop and we compared them to a 1980's blizzard snowmobile with the 503, the part numbers stamped on the seals were identical, for way way less money, I still used the rotax seals because I had them, I will say some of those full gasket sets you can buy off ebay are total junk, I will always purchase each seal one by one. Hey if you have a C box or E box on that thing I have a 74" Power Fin prop I will sell you cheap, It is brand new, Not sure if you can cut down the Power Fin or not,

Congrats, if you want to fly sooner just replace the broken stuff, and worry bout the rest when you notice problems, unless of course your flying over hostel terrain. Them 582's are bullet proof, you will notice right on start up if the crank seals are bad, it will be a bitch to start and when you get her running it will speed up and slow down, Another trick is take a propane torch and let the gas blow onto the crank seals if it starts to run different your seals are shot.

Cam locks in fiberglassGetting ready to install all the cam locks in my cowl, Do you guys just rivet the cam lock into the fiberglass or do you rivet through an aluminum strip.

Funny thing is, if it was a kitfox it would have been sold 5 months ago when he started listing it. Quite a while back I tried to buy the prop off him but he wasn't ready to split it up yet.

Jabiru Carb HeatYou guys think the 2200 setup needs carb heat? When looking at it, all the heat coming through the cylinders, blowing off the oil pan and through the oil cooler are blowing right past the carb,

You would have to go with something like this https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-916104erl/overview/ then add a union for the brass poly flow fitting to screw into.

Roger that, It was pretty mild when we went up, only had a 7mph direct cross wind which is nothing, Nice thing about taking lessons in this guys kitfox is it has the stock narrow bungee gear on it, when I fly my with the big gear on it, it should be a breeze.

Tail Wheel flyingHey guys I took my first two hours of tail wheel lessons today with an instructor, we were in his Kitfox 4, 582 3 blade warp, you guys are right these birds are a bit squirrely at first, but I would say by my 5th landing I was nailing it, pretty happy about that, did all wheel landings today, got about 20 of them down, next time he said we can do a few 3 point, super impressed at how well these birds climb, easy 1000 fpm with both of us 200 pounders in there, How many hours do guys normally take to get the endorsement,

Along with this dont forget them grey heads need the small water line from the front of the head plumbed just below the radiator cap, that also helps keep them cool.
