    In search of/ WTB kitfox 3 ribs
    Greetings all, I am on the hunt for kitfox 3 ribs, all I need is one of each type in usable enough shape to make templates. If you have broken but nearly complete ribs, I'd be willing to by them. 
    I have been gathering parts for this project for some time now, and still need the ribs. I have a Highlander wing kit i was going to build and install, but I'm thinking of using that on a different project. One of the TOO many projects I always seem to have.

    Jim, I'm jealous. Not that I have a lot of use for skis, but I am curious if those are production pieces or did you make them? If you made them are they plans you could share or are they in your brain?

    The "bubbling" appears to be weld over-penatration. As mentioned you could try to backpurge but I would suspect your tungsten is too large a diameter as is your filler rod as mentioned also. The amperage may be a hair too high and you may be dwelling. With thin wall steel and stainless steel you need to be moving along. I have made a lot of sugary stainless welds and a lot of overpenatrated welds with TIG in the past. None were critical but that is my $.02.

    WANTED Model 3 Wing rib router template
    I should have done this before I sold the 3 ribs I had. Does anyone out there have router templates for making the ribs and false ribs for the model 3? 
    I have a tracing 1Avidflyer sent me a while back but if someone has the template they'd either part with or loan I'd appreciate it.
