Me and my son visited Randy in Wolf Lake this passed summer, what an awesome place!! if i wasnt in Ester Ak id b looking for a place there!!! As me and my wife was lookin for Randy's place i was checkin out empty lots for sale!!! Hahahahaaaa
So mayb ill c u around there too next time im down that way for the Palmer Fair.

Man they r lots of work when doing a rebuild, but u know its not rocket science, it sure worth it when u get her done, urs is in good shape u should keep on it and not give up, i went thro the pissed off, tired, bumbed out mode with both of mine, and Leni talked me out of that and kept me going on it. And im SURE glad i did continue!!! Its damm well worth it, and u know what u have when ur all done.
Dont give up!!!!

Well trailer was done b4 i loaded up the blackfox, and OPPS i must have added all the measurements together instead of splittin them to fit both planes. So back it in shop and loaded/unloaded it probably 4-5 times to get it where i thought was right to fit both planes. Got the sissor jack pins done and cabled, And had the wife make me a few nice tiedown loops.

Well its Nov3, still waiting on my gear for the bluefox, 10 days left till my 49th Bday, dont think im going to c it by then. Mayb lucky to get it b4 spring the way its going. Guess ill put the skis on the blackfox and play with it now since had to rebuild my newly built haulin trailer, i made it to tall.

Ahhh i c, was pretty sure u had told me that b4 but couldnt remember. The round/bump cowl is nice but hard to c around. Ill bet they kept it cause there more room under cowl for motor accesories and odd but think same kind of story happened with Luscome? for the radial motor, and they built a bump cowl to accomidate it. Anyways they smoother cowl is sure nicer that y didnt bother me to do a 4” extended gear leg along with wider

I sure like the cowl my bluefox has, was told is a real earlie cowl, but havent ever cn it to much, anyone have any info on it?
Willja67 what did u do with the cowl u made to fit ur bird? U not useing that with the ???

Thanks for the info, but i already did one of those for it. It pins to the trailer and to the rear pin hole in fuselodge for the factory towbar, and the winch pins on/off also to store in toolbox.

He is rebuilding the gear right now, he says all is going great and im happy about that!!! And he said he have it to me b4 my birthday next month, cant wait to get the gear on. He is a good guy to deal with and so far stands behind his work. Im just bumbed that it happened, and sucks to wait to fly ur newest bird. Hahahhaaaaaa

Ok guys here we go. We all want some bush gear and man ill tell u im at top of the list too, lots of good good people out there building good gear, and then mayb there some bad eggs out there, Or mayb things just happen sometimes, but in the fabrication world especially for aircraft its pretty important. Here is y my new gear from Randy Moore got sent back for him to totaly rebuild again, now in an earlie post here i mentioned some of the problems. Thought id post the pic’s (as much as i didnt want to) but it should b shown so others to really watchout for problems on there landing gear wether its new bush gear or old stock used gear, or replacing an old gear leg, and y its so important for both gearlegs to b the same lenth.

Yes 582/Cbox, originally a 503/Bbox when i bought it wrecked, this cowl i hear is mayb an earlie style than the bump cowl, sure is WAY easier to c around than the bump cowl. Its same length as the others it just looks long the way its built, same mount to mount motor except it doesnt have the extra mounts to hold the bumpcowl on. Lifted the firewall up 4" and took my backing plates out to 68.5" from the original 57".
Tires r the 21" desser smooth tundra tires.

The work to get that gear or any wider gear is SUPER worth the work. I hear ull never go back, i still havent been able to taxi mine new gear yet since it got sent back to TN, only been waiting since Aug 9th ill probably get to taxi mine first time on skis in the snow.

Hey Browning, im just now getting close to starting the 670 build in #0048. Good news on the one ur buddy has flow up here and did good, im 6 miles outside Fairbanks in Ester, id love to checkout ur buddies bird, mayb talk with him and u some about ur setup. Im going to do a 670, Ebox, 3blade warpdrive prop, extended gear, enlarged tailfeathers, fuselodge backbone, but its only going to b a single seat moved to center.

I had a Lynx walk right by the edge of my deck on the back of house here about a month ago, it had no worries, took a nice stroll right up driweway alongside of house as i watched, it was on the hunt for some rabbits or one of my four dashounds, so i let it have it!!!

New project for the planes, built it to haul either of my KF’s, with skis or tires, stock gear or extended gear just incase i want to take it someplace, and im tiered of a regular car trailer.
Still have a plastic crossbed toolbox, atv winch to mount on trailer with battery mounted in toolbox, and an 20gallon aluminum gas tank and a pump to put on.

I do have to agree with simple simple simple, i also love the bungiees more, Dont matter if on the gear legs, or for the tension on ur skis.
