I dont think so, u just plan ahead little more, and try stuffing the tail in the ground, but heck im new at it to. Tjay did u use the skidoo springs on ur bushgear? I did and thinking mayb a little to weak.

SHE FLYS!!!!
Well took the bluefox to NP to do test taxi ect. First time out it surprised me and was 20’ off the ground right away, set it back down and taxied back to truck for a short breather. Hahhaaaaa later i went back to it and flew it up and down runway about 1’-2’ above the ground a bunch of times did real good put on about 1.5hrs, but found out my airspeed gauge doesnt work. Will have to check the lines and then the gauge, i belive its the gauge u can s some parts layin on the bottom of the inside just behind the glass and faceplate.

Well took the blueplane to Bradley yesturday, got up to 28 above and sunny as heck, did about 1.5+hrs of taxin and short flights back and forth on the 4000’ runway, all went good except i found out the airspeed gauge not work at all. Have to check my lines, then recheck the used gauge again. First time out to taxi she surprised the hell out of me and was 20’ off the ground right away, had to set it back down and go park for a breather
my blackfox dont get off nowhere near that soon.

Holy Jumping Jollopy!!!! U guys c the latest video on the Steve Henery Yamaha motor on the experimental channel? They talkin differences between the RX1 and the Apex, at the end they talk price for one that Steve pulled from a sled for a customer and got it all setup for a highlander kit he sold, about $23,000 for No Turbo, and add about another $20,000 for one with a Turbo? With almost 1000lbs of thrust, wow!!
I think once the phazer conversion gets rolling there b alot of those swaps done to replace the 582/670. I know thats where im leaning now for the bluefox with the reading ive been doing.
(And ive got 6 complete rotax motors, 4 of them r extras)
And we think the prices wont go up within the next 2-3-5 yrs? Hahahahaaa everyone that someone c's cheap will get bought and resold for twice what he bought for i think, amd ur right the "scrapes" wont b worth anything cause the market will b flooded with them parts. If ur pondering the swapover in the future look now i say, least a guy could ride the sled till pull motor out, ice fishing or something, i wouldnt want to get one stuck,id have to leave it till spring. Hahahahahaaaaa

Very true but a guy wants to POORBOY buy the donar sled, cause u probably not going get much for the rest of it around here anyways, guess hard to say. After the articman snogo race in the hoodo mountains here the sleds here will drop in price some by close to half price.
Does anyone mess with the 3cyl yamaha 4stroke motor yet?

I pulled it out cause,,,,, who really needs one??? And cause it weighed 21.3 lbs, that was the most of my 31lbs of weight i killed on the blackfox when went thro it after purchase. And the home made aluminum mount and clamps was another 1.5lbs

Well got front disc brakes on just needs final welding/finish work, used some old rotors from a 700 polaris sled, some old removed hurst airheart calipers of kf 0048, hahahaaaa and cant find any seats that fit right so making my own bucket seats, here is the start of the drivers side.
Well here we go again, form wont take my pic of cell phone again. Hahahaaa

Boy im thinking im hooked on the 2cyl yamaha conversion also instead of the 617/670 rotax swap when the time comes, by then the bugs will b all worked out, but we all better buy up the yamaha motors b4 the prices on them SKYROCKET.
Spring is coming and the prices will b down durring summer.

Ahhh ok SS tapes on ivo, so looks like one of the props i have will workout ok? Not like she will spend all her time on floats, hahahaaaaaa i also have a warpdrive hub i could buy blades for but would like to use what i have if can.
Suppose to start warming up on Sunday so nextweek probably b digging them out of the snow and hauling them home, have to figure out where i want to store them for awhile, think i can find room, hahahahaaaaaa
P.S. Ahhh does it matter that this is in the for sale section?

Very much appreciated on that John, will take u up on that when time comes, -30 here this am, and Dr appts to goto this week so b waiting to get them home till warmer, suppose to warmup next week but they say that alot. Hahahahaaaa i have IVO props with nickle leading edges hope they b ok? I have a 3blade 68", 3blade 68" aggressive pitch, and a 2 blade (going to buy a 3rd) not sure now if 70" or 72".

HEY i found a new use for my BRS chute, well not new new, ive done it for equipment with large military chute over the D9 or 245, was installing a primer pump finally, and plumbing and was so nice in there and was still in the below zero temps -5,-7, and of course this am its 12 above, the used primers i had where no good either, knew better than to even try them but is what it is. Hahahahahahaaa

Well guys i ended up buyin this set of floats for the KF. Made a hell of a "GOOD TRADE" like they say on dancing with wolves. Even tho they need a few small repairs like u c in pic. Hahahaaaaaa think they rigged for a j2 or Tcraft A now, the guy i got them from is an AP for Everts here and said he would help me install them when the tie comes, course ill get the rigging done asap, wont b flying on them that soon, but least they b ready for a model 1-4 mounting. May even let my buddy borrow them for a bit that way i can learn to fly floats. He proably try and buy them from me. Hahahahahaaaaa

On CL this am KF3Cn this on CL this am, this was the first KF i looked at buying about 3-4 yrs ago, (was going to trade my built 63 chevyII for it from the guy this guy got it from) said it still hasnt flown, what a shame!! What a Beautiful plane!!

Well today is going to b the first good start and run day, making the aircleaner/snorkle setup now, still on the hunt for seats, after that it will b gettin brakes on it and a real test drive. Got to hurry up, the weather is changing for the good here so b airplane time REAL soon for me!!!!!! YA-%UCKIN-HOO its been 15-33 above and the sun will b backout next week.

Oh man TJay that is super nice!! I like the 4" thick tread, when the stairs r all together that is going to look super sharp in the cabin. Now i need to find some gold here and hire u to build me a place in Louisianna on the lake. Hahahaaaa
