    Black Friday Sale!!!

I am being sent on a long term assignment with my curent employer. I was told we could be a while in the field and won't have time to get to the avid for possibly 3 years. I would be willing to entertain offers around $10,000 at this point.

    Respectfully,

I have some 21's setting in the hanger but I am not sure that they are up to the terraine around here. I look at all of the great sand bar photos you all post from up in AK and I have to admit I am envious. And the FISH....

Ed you probably went right by where they are making holes to take out the coal. Did you get to see Devils Tower? Most of the Paint is actually vinyl that a friend cut for me.

Took some video of a flight through the mountains looking for turkey for dinner but only saw Christmas geese along the river. I have not figured out the editing part yet so if this old brain can work through that I will post a video one of these days.

    Jeff,

You might as well buy them; your going to have to buy another plane now that your hooked. :drool3: JackAk just bought a pair and Leni said he had some drummed up so they are now the norm for AK Avids.

Larry, I bought some stuff made by Locktite that is made to repair the rubber on conveyor belts.  It is a two part material and also has cleaner and etching chemicals to prep the rubber prior to application.  It is pretty spendy stuff so I hope it works.  I will put it on before I go back to tires in the spring so no test reports for a while.

Just heard about this one....WOW :dunno:

Authorities allege that John Walsh, 46, has been using an unregistered LSA-type aircraft and falsified pilot certificate to fly customers near Key Largo, Fla. Walsh was charged Tuesday with felony operation of the aircraft — an M-Squared Breeze II that would otherwise be an LSA or experimental category aircraft, fitted with pontoons — in a careless and reckless manner and possession of an unregistered aircraft. Authorities say Walsh was in possession of a fake pilot’s license and used Facebook to advertise for customers. They say he was not in possession of a pilot certificate of any kind and an FAA safety inspector reportedly shot video of Walsh flying the unregistered seaplane, exiting the aircraft with a passenger, and soliciting others.

Walsh was released from custody Tuesday after posting a $10,000 bond. His aircraft has been confiscated, a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told WPTV news. The sheriff’s director of aviation, Brooks Bateman, told NaplesNews.com that Walsh “didn’t have any pilot certification at all.†He added that the aircraft Walsh flew was “falling apart due to saltwater exposure.†Walsh was allegedly filmed soliciting rides for $20 per passenger in the two-seat open-cockpit aircraft.

I am knee deep in painting my 206 right now. As soon as I get that finished I will be ready to get to work on the Avid's again. I am browsing the threads right now to see what has all ready been discussed. I don't know how to down load pictures, I have just enough computer skills to be dangerous. I plan to learn more.  Thanks again for the tips, Cliff

I´m trying to get you to go to church every Sunday (just kidding)----------------

I´m planning to do that in all the churches around Skåne (Skania - South sweden) I found it curious that in the middle of no where, in a town with less than 100 people living there, a big beautiful church in the middle, strike me first, and I asked an Old Lady who explained to me that early this century, the people with a lot of money in the area where the farmers; and it was like a non spoken competition between them to see who has the biggest and mos beautiful church in town, so they spend a lot of money helping the goverment build this churches.....

So my flying EXCUSE is take short videos of churches in Skania, WHAT´s YOUR EXCUSE???

    Regards

    OIL RICH TWO STROKE

While camping out at Oshkosh this year with my buddy, who I cannot name at this time, I had the following experience.   Every morning after the long walk to the showers he had a ritual of putting very large amounts of Baby Powder in his  boxer shorts.  This he claimed this keeps the boys happy after the miles of walking we would be doing.  Now comes the fun part.  With every step he took the view from behind  looked like a duel exhaust 2 stroke burning way too much oil.  Luckily this only lasted for the first couple hundred yards.  Happy Thanksgiving to all, and my camping buddy Doug.   :bartmoon:
