Lift strut length

I'm thinking about upgrading from the 3/4" lift struts to the 7/8" on my model C but were the HH and speedwing struts the same length?

I can look in my book tomorrow, but I think they were. I upgraded mine from 7/8" to 1" when I rebuilt mine so I could use the kitfox plastic fairings. I dont remember the measurements off the top of my head though, will see if I can find them tomorrow.

Did you have any luck finding info on the lift strut length?

IIRC, the lift strut brackets for all (4) wings was 80" out which would suggest to me the lift struts for all Model C wings are the same length with differences in o.d. and wall thickness only.
