Fairing Gear legs

Been scratching my head to come up  with a way to fair the gear leg on my cabane style gear and came up with a solution that will match the struts without shaping trim to match what came with the kit.  Not perfect but a reasonable facsimile is in the works by gluing a 1/4" x 2" pine trim to the back edge of the rear leg and then covering the both legs with fabric like the original setup with the factory gear.  They will have the 1/4" blunt trailing edge for better pressure recovery and less drag.  on the cabane member I used 3/4" cove molding glued and faired into the tubing to make the tube teardrop shaped.  Still using the 3M structural adhesive that came with the kit when it was shipped almost 25 years ago and it is still good and working well.  I did not use it when I built the wing but it works well for non critical applications.
