Oil Cooler Idea

What do you guys think of something like this for an oil cooler. Simple light weight no oil lines. Basically just blowing ram air over the fins on the oil pan, Do you think it would work?

I am with Jim. I don't think it would work in hot weather.

My buddy's C85 Champ has the same setup.  Works okay there...

Do any of the small Continental engines run an oil cooler?  The Jab is supplied with the oil cooler adaptor and cooler because Jabiru expected it to need it.  I did remove my cooler in the winter, but needed it in the not super hot northern Mn. summer.  Jim Chuk
