Building a panel and glare shield

I might start playing with building a glare shield and panel later and was wondering is there a certain height the glare shield needs to be Or is it builders judgement?

One way to make a nice rounded edge on the glareshield is to use a piece of thinwall PVC pipe as a component, or part of a mold.    EDlMO

The glare shield ties into the windshield and lines up with the lip on the cowling.  If that is what your asking.

Oh sure I get it flush with the top of the lip on the front cowl. that makes sense, And I'm sure if I set it 1/2 inch below the top lip of the cowl it really wont matter, thanks,
