Finally started my plane today and have a few questions . I have a 582 with a rk clutch . The motor idles around 1400 rpm is this to low ? Also the egt at idle is under 800 degrees should I re-jet it? I did raise the c clip to lean it out some but no help ? Thanks rusty

Idle is perfect! The egts will be under 800 at idle. Mine are not even on the scale at idle. What matters is the mid range and top end egts.

What Leni said ^^^^  It's only too slow if it shakes or quits when you close the throttle on final.  I really like the positives of the clutch on mine.

Thanks for the answers. I really like the clutch so far ,it makes warm up much smoother.
