I posted a Kitfox 2 undercamber rib outline overlaid with the Riblett Kitfox 4 rib on Files and Forms - I included a yardstick so you can print it and take it to a copy shop and have it enlarged until the yardstick is actual size. I did not show the interior of the ribs.

The Kitfox 2 rib is similar to the Avid STOL, but the interior cutouts are different.

I am sure that someone on here can trace or copy a STOL rib with cutouts for you.

I would bet that Doug Holly or someone on here has what you need.

Like Doug would say, Guys on here are not a lot of "Beotchs" like on some other sites.

It's good to be talking to all of them and learning from them.

Amen!

Some folks may think Leni is being mean to me, because I drive on a forward tricycle, and my engine sounds different than a chainsaw - but we really have a friendly sparring, considering that I am an old advanced thinker and flyer!

What kind of old Contisaurus engine is in that new spam can on floats?

A Bud Lite to you, Captain Morgan!

That 4-banger will get my big wings with the Cessna 182 wingtips off of the ground!

And, bet my gas bill is a lot less!

I actually considered having 4 wheels in front instead of 3 - makes sense to me, and someone did it - like Amphib floats without the floats, since I don't swim!

Where is ChrisB? I need a Kayak hauler for reinforcements!

ALL IN FUN! But, when was the last time you saw a Jet plane with a tailwheel?

Speaking of Kayaks...

Anyone have any ideas about mounting a 10' rotomold craft under a tail wheel KF2 with a 582?

Just thinkin'...

Talk to ChrisB.  He has hauled his kayaks under his avid but I think it was tricycle gear.  If you can hang the kayak under the fuse with ratchet straps your good to go.

Yes, ChrisB uses a nose-dragger to haul his Kayaks - I have seen photos.

What ever you hang under your bird, just make darned sure that it isn't too tail-heavy - They only fly once!
