    First Flight
    It flies. Considering that ASI,VSI were not working it went very smooth. The landing only had three bounces until I had control. No bad flight characteristics noticed. EGT 1100, CHT 250, water temp. 160. Can't report any performances due to inst. failures, still I am HAPPY. Russ

    It has two bulkheads, one behind the prop, and the other infront of the prop. The spinner is attached to the rear bulkhead with screws and lock nuts.

    I am running a Culver 74" x 49 pitch. The prop runs true, just the spinner has a wobble. Running on a MK IV HH 582. Russ.

    Hi All,
    I noticed my prop. spinner is not running true, has a little wobble. I could paint a spiral on it, just kidding. I noticed a MK IV HH for sale on Barnstormers, and it has no spinner. I talked with owner and he had same problem with wobble. He claims the spinner is not needed. What are the thoughts on this?

    > Well yesterday I received my Airworthiness Certificate. I will have my tailwheel endorcement by the end of this week. First flight to follow when I am comfortable with it, but soon.

    Well I would have to say the trip home went smooth. I think you were wise in your decision to by this bird. It looked and ran great when you picked it up. Hope you have many happy hours of flying in it. BTW everything came out OK with me today, (colonoscopy)

    I have the Airdale tanks in N844RS. They are very slow to fill, and hold about 10.5 gals. The pictures at Wingtanks.com are of my installation. I would also like to see pics of your tanks. Russ

    This was not a rebuild, but built from a kit.  I have owned a Cessna 150, and a Cherokee 140, but this is my first home built.  It was fun, but as I said glad it is done.  I will be getting my tailwheel endorsement in Florida this Nov.  First flights of N844RS to be in April 2010.   Thanks for the reply.  Russ.

    Hi Gang,
        Well its been 3 summers and over 1000 hrs. but N844RS made its way to the hanger today.  I have some trim work and a few minor items to finish.  Trailering went smooth.  Happy with Stewarts System products.  Enjoy the pics.
