THANKS TO ALL OF AFF, Jim, Doug, and others who have shared concerns.  You make me feel better having you as an extended, caring, family.  I am weak, but they tell me that a recovery day is coming someday.  I have more tests in November and I will try to give you some info by December.  Too shaky to type.  E-CARD IS A NICE GESTURE, but your posts are enough, really Thanking all of you.  Stay tuned, ;<)  edmo

Thanks for asking fellows - I try to drop in every few days to see what is happening - Bottom Line:  Not doing any better - Feel so tired - Chemo was recoverable about 2 to 3 weeks after each session, but Radiation sickness and weakness seems to be everlasting.  I think they fried my brain!  ;<)  Cheers, EDMO

Last ebay post lowered the price to $3500 obo.  Cat wings are in-between Avid STOL/HH and Avid Magnum.  33'?  EDMO

I've seen several barns burn down when the hay self-combusted.  Donno if it was damp, wet, or too green.  We never stored hay in the barn.  EDMO

I cant tell you which is better - Grove costs more - probably cheaper to overhaul Matcos?  EDMO

TJay,  Not trying to push any sales, but think it might be in your interests to junk or sell those MCs and go with another set which use a reservoir.  I can sell a set of Matco for $100 shipped or Grove for $200, with money back, cost of rebuild for Matco, or exchange if they don't work - Main thing is matching total length of MCs when extended.  I don't know if I have a reservoir I can find, but they are cheap.  Just trying to help you get that bird flying!  EDMO

Did you check the MC5 rebuild kit parts?  Are the pistons 1/2" or 5/8"?  EDMO

Jim,  Either way, the holes have to be tapped out larger, unless you are just replacing a stripped helicoil.  I have several boxes of solid inserts, but sure that they are all American threads.  EDMO

Jim,  Unless there is a reason you cant use solid inserts instead of helicoils, like the walls not being thick enough, I highly recommend them.  They don't need the High $$ tap or tool, just the next size up for either standard or metric threads, and they have locktite already on the threads, or you can get them with little "fingers" that you drive home after screwing the insert in - They never come loose or strip out.  Check Grainger or MSC.  EDMO

I had the same results - My hangers/shop are sealed enough to keep most everything out - If a mouse slips in, it never gets out alive!
Don't know much about owls, except that I was in a boat going to my duck blind one night and had to take a leak - when I stepped onto the bank I came face to face with a Great Horned Owl - We both quickly retreated, him flying just over my head - That was the last time I offered to get out of a boat at night to piss!  ;<)  EDMO

DECON makes a big difference - One pack by each wheel - AS long as there are no cats or dogs around to eat it.  EDMO
