    Hey nlappos!
She's put on a few pounds, like me after the holidays, and thats why I say she's (fat).
This little bird has a (armstrong ; )  )   pull start!   Me!  That helps keep 'er light. Ha! Ha! I have have a blast watching people watch me pull startig this thing!  I have had people ask me how much the toy airplane weighs. I would show off by turning the prop horizontal and get under the motor mount and pick it up into the air, when the engine cowling is off. I actually got applause for doing this and I'm no great weightlifter! It's similar to  pickinking up a large picknic table, its a clumsy task! I gettin older, I haven't done this in a while!
Got to change out those steel wheels and some other things to get 'er back to where she needs to be. It's not far off, but another reason I would sell as project. It's almost more fun than one can have with one's clothes on!
If I keep this, I have been wanting to put it on floats. With ultralight provision for floats, and a parachute make weight again with allowance, like the guy flying on floats in the video file. Other wise, take the doors off, change to light wheels, and a few other things. I planed on carbon fences for wing tips like other stol planes. BTW, here is what she would look like in her stol outfit. Just picture it with wing tip fences, no droop tip,s and add light weight wells and tires, The Nancos don't acually weigh that much.
If I don't  sell it, I still might do this as the new mosaic aircraft rules are dragging on now don't seem to be done until 2025. I was under the impression they would be out by 2024 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Me an Old pilot thats why I went ultralight but when new rules come out so many more aiplanes fit light sport. Thats why I bought a PA-22 Colt (see photo below), It fits the rule and has a payload of 700 pounds!  But looks like I may have to wait a while rumor say later, we will see how this shakes out.........
    Late,r happy flying!
    Brian

    Hi nlaappos,
This is a Sky Raider 1 ultralight.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jP8mwHALSGs&t=9s
This was built utralight so it is not registered and there is no paper work.
I still planned on doing the waiver for paper work however.
I had an Avid flyer years ago and used the paper work you mentioned.
How's the weather in your neck of the woods? We are getting rain snow mix here in the Black Hills of SD!
Seems like we go from Winter skip spring and go almost right to summer.
Fly low  and slow and if they are shooting at you fly high and fast! ........... Brian
