Another way of shipping is Fastenal, I ship the whole avid frame to a fellow out west and I think it was 150 or 200 bucks don't quote me

The reason for the additional bracing in a seaplane mount is for negative gs pounding across the water, Paul S had a G meter in his kit fox and saw four gs negative !!!

There should be a washer under the bolt head, and another one on the bottom between the castle nut!

plane was known as a Easey RAIDER,Just,s name for exported skyraider,yes built per European specs, you should've gotten lots of paperwork from the fellow you bought it from because I gave him the building manual , receipts from all the purchases of materials etc.
Truthfully, it didn't fly near as good as my A model Avid!!!!

Fuselage from rear carrier through aft , fair shape , front carry through forward rough, but has the nose digger gear, that's just the fuselage part. Will post pic latter

Just got off the phone with Jerry Matison, he's familiar with this plane, it's called a fat avid, The grove gear is the giveaway
He just talk to John Larson last week and told me that the email is the same, if you need additional information let me know

You do know that you're going to have to do some work to get a 670 motor to work, make sure it has the lugs for the provision eight bolts which will have to be drilled and tapped out, and crank output shaft is bigger than the 582 so whether you use a clutch or whatever that Drive it'll have to be bored for the new crank!!!
If that's not enough problems, the exhaust will be your biggest !!!!!!!!!!
