  3. Dont have any pic of movin the tab on toe brakes Jim, i just cut it off wnd moved it up one width of the tab if that makes sence. Also with the matco m5 cyl. Mostly did that to get the face of the toe brake even or little behind the face of the rudder pedal

  4. Not to mention i did move the mount tab on the toe brake lever to a better spot for better geometry like the group has suggested.  But i think heel brakes b nice in a KF, i just hate toe brakes!!!!

  6. On my model 1, im useing the matco MC5, with cleveland dual puck calipers, but im also running 6” wheels, 1.5” axels, and the desser 8.50x6 smooth, have a set of ABW 26” im kickin around the idea of puttin them on.  I can drag the tires thro the dirt locked up at full rpm if want and make the tail stay on the ground if wanted. Makes for good short power takeoff mayb? Far as stoppin u have to b little light on the toe brakes if not use to the plane, but all my babies have the cleveland dual pucks. Hahahaaaa

  8. Well now its on to her tail, installed the stabilizers ect, started to adjust flywires and found way to much slack in the jackscrew and yoke, tried to save a buck, soooooo waitin to order one on monday from Stodards. Got 5g in the ass of this baby so whats another $500 right? Hahahaaaa. Well 3g of it was for the fancy new Atlee Dodge 3” extended tail feathers, those will really help to make the Crosswinds STOL wings work good. Ill b headed down to Wasilla again on or about the 21st of this month for week or two to finish wings (parts r finally on way from Dakota Cub) and to fit wings on fuse and set them up, make cables ect. So when i come back with wings they b ready to cover, tail b ready to cover, then a little more work on fuse and ill start covering of it also. YAHOO DAD MAY FLY AGAIN THIS SUMMER.

  12. Go to any auto parts store and ask for the correct cap pressure u need, when i built my bluefox i bought a new cap from Orielly’s, get a parts guy that not dumb, and just tell him the pressure u want. Thats what Leni told me to do, mine was same size as automotive and newer snowmacines.
