I've watched a number of videos of light planes on skis. I believe I would want one on the tail as well.

Care to share how you gained the knowledge to make the comparison?

I think when I saw it yesterday it was listed as a 2... or was that on e-bay?
I does look like a good deal
I was excited until I saw the location.

Every 2-3 cable diameters?
That could end up being a lot of lacing

End number?

You figured out more than I did when I read it yesterday.
Thought perhaps he was trying to find the last kit serial number??

Wow, how in the world can two companies be so far apart on the same services? Good golly, 27x cost plus 7 months lead time! I guess that is their rather adamant but less than polite way of saying 'thanks, but no thanks' we don't need your stinkin' business.
My inital thoughts exactly...

Neighbors are going to love you now!
How could they NOT already love him?

Thanks for the write-up and photos.
Pretty much reinforces my thinking about the repair I need to make to my rudder fabric.

EAA and AOPA are lobbying to enable use of NON-CERTIFIED ADS-B out devices in experimental and homebuilt craft. They also continue to lobby for 3rd class medical reform. Both are also lobbying to get all ADS-B IN information available whether or not you are transmitting OUT.
It is amazing they can, with seemingly little delay, authorize powered paper airplane use in airspace but not make any progress on changes that benefit thousands of pilots and general aviation.

I saw a aerial shot of the tarmak at South Bend, IN airport during the TX/ND game. There were at least 20 biz jets parked in a group. Too bad I sold my oil stocks and bought China mutual funds...

I plan to use the IN feature on AVARE.
OUT requirement...I'll probably just steer clear of the areas where it is required.

Thanks for the responses. After posting, I read about the effect of washout and realized these airplanes have that design feature. I think I remember a few posts here that guys were, civilly, arguing the benefit of more and less washout.

Thanks for your attempt to get me to post more meaningful content but I think my questions, perhaps yours, have been answered.
I saw on AOPA today that the FAA has authorized unmanned flight of PAPER AIRPLANES(!) yet they won't comit on the elimination of the 3rd class medical....

While reading about a DIY ADS-B in device, I tripped over a write-up about Stall Strips. I've not seen any mention of them here. I now have some insight of their purpose and use. Seeking sage info/advice about them. Are they advantageous or even needed on Avids/Foxes? Since I've not been aloft in one yet I have no sense of stall indication in one.
Thanks

I always find it difficult to follow the posters train of thought.
I suppose if I was intaxicated while reading, it would all make perfect sense.
