    Larry,
Thanks for the information.  It's always good to have options when dealing with old plexi. Did the gel work best at the edges where you had partially removed the paper or equally well on areas where the paper was still intact? The last time I had to deal with old plexi I used my heat gun, it took a while, but eventually the glue gave up and came loose. I did end up with an area where the lexan wasn't perfectly clear but it is in areas where it doesn't cause any problems. Thanks again.

    On The Witness Stand
Defense Attorney: Will you please state your age?

Old Lady: I am 94 years old.

Defense Attorney: Will you tell us, in your own words, what happened the night of April 1st?

Old Lady: There I was, sitting there in my swing on my front porch on a warm spring evening, when a young man comes creeping up on the porch and sat down beside me.

Defense Attorney: Did you know him?

Old Lady: No, but he sure was friendly.

Defense Attorney: What happened after he sat down?

Old Lady: He started to rub my thigh.

Defense Attorney: Did you stop him?

Old Lady: No, I didn't stop him.

    Defense Attorney: Why not?

Little Old Lady: It felt good. Nobody had done that since my David died some 30 years ago.

    Defense Attorney: What happened next?

Old Lady: He began to rub all over my body.

Defense Attorney: Did you stop him then?

Old Lady: No, I did not stop him.

    Defense Attorney: Why not?

Old Lady: His rubbing made me feel all alive and excited. I haven't felt that good in years!

    Defense Attorney: What happened next?

Old Lady: Well, by then, I was feeling so horny that I just laid down and told him 'Take me, young man. Take me now!'

Defense Attorney: Did he take you?

Old Lady: Hell, no! He just yelled, 'April Fool!'   And that's when I shot him, the little bastard.

All you need is the C-box $$$ - I just saw a B-box sell for $404 on ebay.I have an A-box, but don't think it will handle the Soob and Warp Drive prop?
I believe my belt drive puts the prop a higher than the Rotax drive???

I wonder what rad he used?

Looks like a simple plate bolted to the bell housing mount. Probably with an automatic flex plate. Turn up a simple shaft to go from the crank bolt pattern to the gearbox input and you're all set.

Hi Ed, that looks like a C gear box to me... Wonder what gear ratio he used. 2.62 to 1 is the smallest ratio, 4 to 1 the largest. I suppose he has to run a large prop even with the 2.62 gears.

Is that a Rotax redrive? Which one? Cool rad install, but might not have room with belt drive? Which drive has the clutch?
Wish he would have posted a blueprint of the hookup of the drive.

Removing 20 Year Old Paper from Plexi
I know this has been covered a few times but thought I would through out something that has worked well for me.   I am trying to get off 20 yr old paper and had been making rather slow and difficult progress with Goo Gone and Simple Green.   Today I tried "Goof Off Citris Gel".  Worked fabulously.   It goes on heavy (its a gel), then cover it with Saran Warp.   After doing this I came back 3 hours later and the old paper and glue came right off.     http://www.homedepot.com/p/Goof-Off-12-oz-Goo-and-Adhesive-Remover-Spray-Gel-Trigger-FG790/205664886?N=5yc1vZ4jx     They do make a clear industrial clear liquid (in a can) that harms the plexi (dont ask).   The citus gel does not though.   Larry S.

regardless of where the air comes from, if you have a hose bent up and down again, it will develop air, wonder if the complete water line keeps strait all along and the higher point is the bottle?
