Wondering if my spring has lost some of its bend angle. Anybody know what the original angle should be?

Good indicator is in this drawing.  I also have a full sized scanned copy of the shape of a good tail spring from the Avid MK IV.  I could send it to you if you like.  JImChuk

Yeah, I'm afraid I've lost some angle. but I'm not sure ever had that positive camber.

I would have to say I don't think there is a "set /correct" angle for the tail wheel pivot bolt to be at. Everybody has their own ideas where it should be. I personally decided to set my caster on my tail wheel to be close or near to the angle of the rudder hinges for ease of steering. With the shorter factory landing gear think the caster ended up around 5 degrees positive. The angle of the bend in the spring around 33 to 36 degrees. Went with the ACS homebuilders spring and shortened it and re drilled the holes to better fit what I thought would work best for the plane. May even have changed the arc angle a tad in a press. It is actually standing up better then any spring I had custom made from a spring shop, even though the latest acs iteration is a bit thinner then the original which is what I believe I am seeing in your facebook post.
