Compatibility Avid MK4 and Kitfox

Could anybody tell me if the following Avid parts would suit a Kitfox fuselage?

- elevator and vertical stab

- seats 

- engine cowling

without too complex modifications!

If it's a sling seat, it should fit.  I was measuring a Kitfox seat and Avid fiberglass seats recently, and it seemed like the back part of the Kitfox was 1" longer.  I do have a spare Kitfox fiberglass seat from a Kitfox 2.  Depending on what motor you were using in the Kitfox, the Avid cowl may work.  582 is spark plugs up in a Kitfox and inverted in the Avid, so for that the Kitfox cowl is a lot taller.  With a 912 though, it would be a lot closer.  I was actually going to use an Avid cowl on my Kitfox 4 with 912 build.  I have since sourced a Kitfox smooth cowl and will go with it.  If you meant elevator and horizontal stabilizer, it could probably be made to work with some modification, the MK IV elevator had a built in trim tab and I seem to remember the elevator is larger than earlier Avids.  This is my Kitfox 4 with Avid MK IV cowl.  It looks short because I have a modified longer motor mount.  The standard Kitfox 4 912 mount puts the engine about 4" further back.  JImChuk
