Hello
Can anyone help me to find out if my Avid Flyer is C or B with C kit? It has disc brakes and fuel tank on the wing. It is to know the VNE speed. Currently not knowing the exact model of the plane, I have marked it at 90 mpH. With the Rotax 582 it is very easy to reach it.

Thak You!

That is not a standard Avid serial number.  They were consecutive (one after the other).  B model ended just past 250 or so, C model went to about 1000.  Any info on when the kit was produced at the Avid Factory?  JImChuk

It is the number you have in Spain. I have asked the dealer but they have no data. Do you know in which year the model C began to be manufactured?

Maybe post up some pictures of your plane.  Is the plane a clipped wing (24' wingspan).  Reason I ask is a long wing with 582 may hit 90, but not easily.  I'm not sure what year the C model started to be produced. I would guess maybe 1987, but it's a guess.  JImChuk
