What is this?

Saw this add on craigslist, guy says it's a Kitfox.  I say it's not.  Anyone recognize what type of plane it is?  JImChuk

Jim,  No clue as to what it is, but don't think there was EVER a two-piece aluminum landing gear on a Kitfox - rudder pedals look sort of like Kitfox 5 or later - If I had a "Kitfox" for sale, I would know what model to advertise!  Strange!  

Also, rib tails look like they end short so that flaps/ailerons might butt against them?   That ain't Kitfox or Avid.   EDMO

It IS a Kitfox.

Lots of contradictions in the photos.  The fuselage looks like a Kitfox Vixen (model 5 trigear).  The lift struts shown are not Kitfox items, Kitfox never sold struts with streamlined tubing.  The two piece aluminum gear looks like Airdale, but there is also bungee gear shown.  Odd.

Kitfox parts, but maybe not a full kit.

$6k may not be a bad price for the lot if it can be positively identified.
