flaperon setting

just wondering the best way to set flaperons and at what basic setting. I have the kitfox lite and it has the lever for them, I usually use it in #1 and sometimes 2 but it sure pushes the nose down hard. Just not sure the best setting for cruise setting.

the best setting for cruise is where she flys the best.  You can use some reflex to trim the nose up, but that makes the roll control heavier too.  I don't have notches on mine, its just friction.  I have them set so I can get a little reflex out of them but after take off, I run them down and give the stick a wiggle to see as I play with the flap handle to make sure I am getting the lightest stick forces.  I guess one of these days I should just take off and set the flaps at the optimum cruise position then land without touching them and make a stop for the handle.
