I would pay years in advance for that price.. daily rent for maintenance will run 100-150 a day. The real estate pirates here need to walk the plank!

I'm sure that there are waiting lists for the $1000/month (or is it now $2000?) hangers at Merrill Field in Anchorage, since there are Jillions of planes parked out in the snow. We have a problem here in Missouri with small airports being closed to make shopping malls, and the list for $75 hangers extends from 3 years to eternity! They act like the small plane is going the way of the DoDo Bird....One guy I know just received his eviction notice from a closing airport, where I used to hanger my Ercoupe, and is considering bulldozing his own runway because the nearest hanger for his Taylorcraft is just too many miles away. This is the 3rd airport in my area to close recently.
