80 Yr old woman lands plane after husband has heart attack

There is audio of the final minutes of her circling the airport and getting talked into land. Damn.. Nice job of not panicking as you are trying to fly with your husband next to you dying.. WOW. The audio is 45 minutes long, but is worth listening to! I would love to meet this lady, she is one hell of a trooper!

Wonder if her husband ever thought about sending her to the "pinch-hitter course" that at least teaches a non-pilot how to use the radio and instruments and hopefully have some landing skills? This was a great course, IMO.

Years ago She had taken lessons through solo but net got her license.

Never the less she did an amazing job.
