Better get them rebar ties bent over Mr. If you don't they can get to close to the top of the concrete and you will see rust in the floor and sometimes pop the surface of concrete,

Ha right now I'm waiting for a 5/16 end mill bit (for my drill press) to lengthen the slots in the landing gear, still piddle with the plane, Just hate being indoors this time of year,

I did watch a few of them videos, very cool, But I think for me its the joy of building something and making it work, We seem to have very good water at 20 to 30 feet here, and if not I can always go deeper, Just have to change it on the drilling permit,

when i built mine think they were around 2 lbs maybe a bit less, and the tail end can be 1/4 high if i remember right

New project hereSo Its time to take a break from the kitfox and get on with the stuff I would rather be working on, Thought some of you would get a kick out of this idea,
Sick of paying high water bills to sprinkle my lawn so I'm drilling a well, Got myself a really old garage door opener which will hold the drill and move up and down, bought a really big drill last year when I first started thinking about doing this, Picked up 40 foot of black 1 inch pipe from Menards which will be used as my drill stem and picked up 40 foot of pvc well casing from the local supply house, If you guys are laughing that ok, I like to have fun, Here is the first few pics of the project,

I have a Bad one that came with my header tank from Murl, I can measure it for you to see if it will fit in an avid header tank, It would require you to weld a bung on the side of the tank, with 1/2 inch NPT

With that rudder you may need to add support cables Or do like I did and cut the top of the tail post off and slide a 1/2 .035 tube inside the post, Just a thought, Looks nice,

Looks like you have a great start there, The broke or bent tube I would never do it my self but thats just me, I would be going through that thing with a fine tooth comb, how many hours are on the plane, that is the real answer to weather it is safe or not, either way congrats on the Avid get it the way you want it and you'll be just fine,

My stuff came from Jeggs its the AN-6 Proflex hose Take a look at this website on Page 3 it has a materials list. Mine varies a bit because but not much, I got two 90s and two strait ones,

Yeah my pretty one is also sitting on the shelf, I made a copy of the Motion Aero's I'll use just that one I like the idea of the oil running back into the engine after shut down, shut down, I don't have it mounted quite yet, could you drill out the holes in your new one?

What would cause that?
Taking off with flaps and over speed causing lots of drag on the hangers?
Flaperons not adjusted correctly and always fighting each other?
No turtle deck Hinge causing flutter?
Glad your alive, That has to damn near stop your heart when you look at it.
