    The panels produce dc power it is converted to 30 amp 220ac in the little shed through the inverter,  we could only afford one Tesla battery, It is a 1.4kw that little battery on the shelf will allow us to pull 1000 watts for 5 hours continuously. As far as price, its a lot. But Less than Vernon electric wanted to hook us up to the grid, but of coarse not near as much power.

    Got solar
    Well spent another weekend in wonderful Wisconsin and finished up my solar project. It is so nice to have some form of electricity. For the last two years it was start the generator to make coffee in the morning and buy lots of ice to keep the ice cream cool but not anymore.

    Well I can say it will probably start like this.
    All the shit you give for converting snowmobile and auto engines into aircraft engines and here you are. Ha
    I never met the guy but I have a feeling his vocabulary is a bit stronger than mine ha.

    Last week Birthday Fun
    Think I better post this. 
    Last week it was my birthday and my Wife thought I needed to see the Ocean once.  She planned a fun trip to Maine. What a great time. Stayed at Bar Harbor on the coast and Inland at Moose head lake.   We climbed mountains, Hiked trails Saw the ocean for my first time, then for the best surprise she took me to the Owls Head transportation Museum I highly recommend it for a good time.

    What he wants to do is take a piece of tubing that fits inside the spring and cut it about 1 inch long, then weld them to the washers, that way the spring slides over the tubing and holds it in place  and does not flop around, I know this because I have a piece of tubing sitting on the bench right now to do the exact same thing. Great minds think alike Mr.

    We had a VP-! like that around here.  Joke was while doing touch and goes after take off he needed to fly around the pattern twice  to get to a safe altitude to set up to land.

    The exhaust systems on water crafts are very heavy, So it would need a total redesign.  Each one would be super easy to adapt a gear box too, Just unbolt the jet pump and bolt on a gear box adapter plate.  As far as reliability I think they would be great. Every jet ski I have ever seen is either at idle or  wide open throttle all day long.

    For those of you that wanna see something other than airplanes tonight I made a little progress on my well drill today, Ended up scrapping the garage door opener because it did not have a positive brake, Meaning it would not hold the drill up at the top, So off to buy some tubing today, Would be farther if I could just weld it all together but I am building it to fold up and hang on the wall when not in use, Enjoy,

    No buying anymore unless you find them used, Could be a few hundred hrs to make them, Hey where you located, that could change the price, Also I would split the motor and airframe up if I was you, Seems people can only afford either an Airframe or an engine, Engine alone brand new greyhead Maybe $2000 with gearbox maybe $2500 to $3000, would need pictures of airframe to give value,
