  2. Once again modified my cowling for better cooling over the #1 cylinder. Posted the video on YouTube. I’ll add the link to this. Believe it or not that cowling you will see started it’s life out as a 2-piece round cowl-courtesy of Jim Chuk!

  3. Good luck. Please let us know how it goes.  Once you get the mounts welded on you will need to machine the step for the brake rotor and drill/tap the 3 bolt holes. I was going to do this on my milling machine using a rotary table but like I said I never got around to it. On the one with the slightly bent rim, it still held air and wasn't real noticeable. Will be curious how you make out because I'm thinking about doing a set so that I can swap from the 21" Nanco tires to smaller ones with wheel pants without having to peel the tire off.

I'll keep you posted- that's my plan with these as well, but to use the smaller tires to add penetrating skis

  4. Looking for a kitfox 3 lift spar. Undercamber wing.  Kitfox Aircraft was going to take 6-8 weeks (which usually means 12-14...)

If I cant find one I am going to try and build my own with Carlson extruded aluminum so any advice on that would be appreciated as well!

  6. I have the tanks empty and am looking for a scope to take a peek.  Been using only 100LL of my home field.  Never had any issue with my home fuel so I suspect its something settled in the tanks or header tank is more likely the culprit.  The wing tanks look perfect from what I can see

  7. Has anyone seen this in their gascolator before?  I don't think its from fuel contamination.  The tanks (two wing tanks and poly header tank) sat built and empty for several years.   All the lines are new.  Really caramelized on.  Took a scrub with brake cleaner to get it off.  It also gummed up the header tank bottom drain / check valve
