I have scoured this site and online and I am unable to locate any information or drawing that would show thrust line information. Does it not exist?

The prop hub center is about 3" lower than the plane of the horizontal stabilizer. The plane of the prop disk to the horizontal stab plane is approximately 0.5 degree inclined up (rearward at the top). The firewall is about 3.25 degrees inclined up (rearward at the top). Does anyone have a side view showing the thrust line of a Mark IV?

Morning guys! I sold my 1990 KF2 w/582 grey head a month ago. Loved that plane but needed more utility. Found the Airdale about the same time I found my buyer for the KF2, so it was a quick turn acquiring the Airdale and is currently in my shop - going over the AC thoroughly. The only puzzling issue I have at the moment is the thrust line of the engine in comparison to the factory cowl and firewall. It has at least a 3 to 4 degree angle up from what I can tell. I haven't measured it yet, but plan on it this morning. Any thoughts on why that would have been built into the engine mount? The only thing I can issue is compensation for the 45 degree V Twin mounted upright and the forces created?

Just received the amended SAC for my area after DAR inspection. Looking forward to flight testing to finish the 35 hours remaining for Phase 1.

It sold. I bought it. Tom, the seller, is in the process of buying a twin. The HD Twin Cam has a 95ci big bore kit in it. Originally rated, from what I can find, @ 102 hp / 111 ft lbs torque.

Av8r, why do you say the HD does not make enough power to go anywhere with that plane? It is in Phase 1 with flight time on it.

Anyone know if they will fit the Airdale?

As Av8r requested, here are some pics showing the horizontal stabilizer extended forward through the firewall and prop disc.
