    Bear with me Ron, Per our phone conversation the other night, Jerry thinks he’s got a set of building manuals and I talked to Jim and he mention something about bracing the bottom longerons where the struts meet because Dean and him had a hard landing.

    I saw that one on barnstormers, and thought, lets see, I have a 503, and then I said no way, to many projects now.  Hope it works out for you.  A buddy of mine up here got a skyraider with an HKS on it last spring, and he likes it a lot.   JImChuk

    Same for me Jim, it’s a great deal but I’ve got too many projects now, trying to finish off my phaser Skyraider

    Does anyone know who supplies plans or kits for Avid Flyers?

    I have an Avid Flyer and I need the serial number. I suppose that the one who provides or provided the plans or kits would be able to help me in this. Thanks.

    just got feedback from Jerry Matison, and he can’t find any records of that serial numbered plane,SORRY

    Why don’t you call Troy at Just Aircraft, they have, this is gonna be hard to explain, a rounded I-beamType stiffener in their spars

    If I remember right, Highlanders are built with those 63 and the I-beam insert
