  5. Well motor is all mounted, was interesting figuring what difference was between the 503 that was in it to the 582, but just had to look into the build manuals i have from my BlackFox.  Today ill get the Cbox on and Radiator and start plumbing coolant lines.  Question i have,, how much fabric does it take to cover a KitFox model 1? Im about ready to place my order for Oratex 6000 in Corsair Blue to cover this plane once i get everthing mocked up in place.

  8. Man i like that bird!!! Sweet lookin machine great to c u have it back together!! -24 here this am so just dreamin of flyin here for a bit. :(

  9. To get all the fabric and all the tools to do the job on dads PA12 was $3892.40 for fabric, and $364.09 for the tools.  And that includes shippin to my door in Ester Alaska.  If u ask me i think the price was very fair and Paul and Larz in anchorage r good guys to deal with and the keep me informed as to when it will b headed my way.  When i first ordered the fabric they said it could take up to 6-8 weeks to get it released and then what time it takes to get it from there to here.

  10. How about Oratex 600 lightweight or the Oratex 6000? I did some repair work on my BlackFox with Oratex, what an easy stuff to work with, my BlueFox will get covered with it.  And im waitin on my order of Oratex 6000 in White to cover the PA12.  And have u watched the burnin of the Oratex fabric? It puts its self out in a fire compaired to normal aircraft fabric, the say u can save 25-35lbs on a whole recover on a PA 18-PA12

  11. SuberAvid man thats a sweet lookin bird there.  I like the pic of it we get to c once and awhile, hope my new KF build turns out that nice.

  12. Well im interested in the props but question is will they fit a 582-C box? Im not to good with knowing about props yet.   Also im in Ester, Alaska, 99725, i wonder where ur at and what shippin mayb.

  13. Sent out the $ today, sorry took so long i spaced it out. And been busy with the kid gettin suspended from school and all the snow we just got, least he was around to help shovel and plow snow. Lol   Thanks again Bucky

  16. i have a line on any used 503/532/582 motor parts if anyone needs stuff.  I have a friend here in fairbanks alaska has shelves full of parts he would love to move out and make room for newer sled parts as that what he works on mostly now.

  17. Well im thinking about sellin the blue Kitfox model 1, serial# 0038 fuselage in good shape will need recovered, right wing ok but needs covered, left wing will need rebuilt and recovered, has stock gear with matco brakes wheels and 21" tires, also need new lexan, ect.  No motor or drive or prop, plane use to have a 503/A box, and i have ALL paperwork, hr meter says55hrs, also has an Avid fuselage with miss parts and buildable wings.  Im in it for $4000. Hope to sell for that.

  18. Well a 912 would b nice but they r to spendy for me at the moment, i have the complete 582/C and lots of parts,  I think i could put whole plane together with minimal stuff to buy just have lots of work to do on the left wing.   Mayb 582/C, minimal electric, rope start, try shed all the weight possiable for a nice light bird for fishin after work, and weekends and still have my black one as my cadillac. Hahahaaaaa
