  1. Mine is painted a ugly blue but I can sand it down and all if you wanted . I don't mind sending my whole set up as its already fitted together . I run a 3 blade tapered warp drive with a c box running 3 to 1 and get great performance .

  2. I can use my old one to make it work . Now if I could find wheel pants for a 6-6.00ain tire and 5-5.00 nose I'd be in business

I believe I have wheel pants for both of those as well. Let me look when I get home tomorrow.

Let me know when you get to it .

  3. I started Saturday movin' the kit home. Lo 'n behold I found the builder's manual and pull sheets! Oh happy days! Could y'all tell me if the engine mount that came for a 532 will work on a 582? When it comes to engine cowl, I prefer a more conventional one. A cowl like what you would find on a Cessna. There's an Avid on Barnstormers in NY that's fine lookin' plane. Of course it's a ways down the road, but I would consider some sort of swap for that round cowl. It's 3 piece: top, bottom and scoop.

I have the standard cowl and want a round one . I'd consider a swap .

  4. The welding isn't a big deal I do the welding at Silverlight aviation where I work .I think aircraft spruce has a trim system that is for rans . It looks to be a servo that connects to the trim tab . Might give that a try when I go to recover and paint my plane .  .Right now I'm having to much fun flying . Finally got the gas struts for my doors in and the prop pitch sorted out . Most likely after Christmas I'll start on it again .
