Who's going?

 

 

I have announced "over there" that I will be hosting another meet and greet at Airventure.  My campsite on Friday, 7-24, at 5 pm.  The Valdez STOL show is on the Ultralight Field again, 6.30-8pm.  So we have a little BS session at my place then over to the STOL show.

I'll be there the whole week as usual, only this time I'd like to meet up with the rest of the Avid Fox folks.  Where is your camp?  I usually drive in and stay at Scholler with some friends but I assume you are near UL field..

We camp at the same place every year. Just across the street from the ultralight barn is a farm on the corner of waupon and knapp streets. If you walk up (west) their driveway and take the first trail to the right (north), our camp, EAA Chapter UL75, will be about 100 yards off the driveway on the left (west) side of that trail.

I'm going to be there from wed night on and hope to meet many of you there. I'm a gyro pilot looking to get into either a fox or avid and will probably be asking questions. I'm taking tailwheel lessons currently and I would love to get a look at the various foxes and avids and different mods. Looking forward to it especially since  it will be my first Oshkosh trip .

Maybe only a 1 - I see that you read the first one.

I can't go to Osh - Wife won't rent a 152 and fly me there because I don't have a new pink shirt!  

and the Luscomb is being rebuilt....and I sold my camper.
